Furnace Cleaning in Lakeland, FL
Call (863) 592-0763What a furnace cleaning actually involves here
Power goes off at the breaker and the disconnect first. The blower door comes off. On most Lakeland homes this is an air handler with electric heat strips, not a gas furnace, and it often sits in an attic above a hallway closet. The blower assembly slides out. Each squirrel-cage fin gets brushed and vacuumed, because caked dust there unbalances the wheel and kills airflow. Heat strips, limit switch and sequencer area get cleared of lint. Then the coil, the drain pan, the condensate trap and the float switch.
The coil is usually the real problem. After eight or nine months of cooling, the entering face carries a felt mat of dust and pollen. Cleaning the blower and leaving that mat accomplishes little.
We also look at the return side. Fiberglass ductboard plenums from 1970s-90s construction shed and absorb moisture. A leaking return draws attic air straight into the cabinet, which is why the thing reloaded so fast.
Panels get reseated with proper gasket or mastic, not tape. Honest limit: if the cabinet base has rusted through or the ductboard has mold growth in the liner, cleaning is a short-lived patch. Replacement of that section is the better call.

What Happens After You Call Us
Call and tell us how many returns and supply vents you have. We give you a two hour arrival window and text you when the truck is on the way.
We walk the system first, count your runs, check the blower and the return drops, then hand you a firm quote. The estimate is free and nothing starts until you say go.
We clean every run, vacuum the blower, run the AC to check airflow, and lay down drop cloths before we start. You pay the quoted number, not a dollar more.
